Warm and.. cosy? Knitted art!

No longer the exclusive medium of grannies, knitting has grown quite a following in recent years. I can't blame anyone who is drawn to the warm, cosy look of knit! Such a distinctive and memorable texture, one can almost feel the softness just by looking at a knit piece. For example, a motorcycle coated in pink yarn, a far cry from the usual cold metal we're used to. The motorcycle was crafted by Theresa Honeywell.

These funky little guys are the creation of Nicole Gastonguay, who has her own
collection of different, usually mundane household items, brought to cosy, cuddly life with knitting!

I think it's amazing how something normally not considered to be cosy or cute can be so transformed just
by changing it's texture! Who ever thought you'd curl up next to a polaroid camera or a toaster?

Stay tuned!
