The Truly "Fantastic" Mr. Fox

If anyone has not seen Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr.Fox then rent it, buy it, or however else you wish to procure it!!
Fantastic Mr. Fox is filmed with handmade puppets created from real hair with homemade costumes and filmed entirely in stop motion animation (each second of film is comprised of 24 single shots)

Well if you watch the clip you'll learn this so what I think

The painstaking time the filmmakers spent creating homemade costumes using real hair gives the film a completely unique looking style of animation with TEXTURE, even the slight choppiness of the stop-motion adds to/emphasizes this texture. Ultimately every aspect of this film fits together and complements itself beautifully.

Tell me what you think

  1. I LOVE THIS FREAKING MOVIE. My sister and I have watched it so many times. It is, for a lack of a better term, fantastic.

And also, I do love the texture in the animation, for example, the smoke that's made so fluffy because of cotton/whatever material they used... It's so fluffy, so wonderfully executed!

    Anyway o_o
