Can't get it out of my head

While doing some work for another class, I stumbled upon Emmanuelle Brisson's photography (the first photo I saw of hers was this gorgeous one), where I then found her set of photos called Can't get it out of my head.

I love the colours in this series, and the contrast in the images really makes each of the things that are pretty much consuming the model's head stand out so dramatically.

And of course, the textures :O! I mostly appreciate how some of the objects' (what should I call these things?) various textures are juxtaposed with the smoothness of the woman's body. It really adds to the feeling of invasiveness =D

So anyhoo, I just think these photos of hers are quite strange and beautiful, and at times humourous! i.e. the first ;) I've only posted a few of my favourites from the set, so I definitely encourage you to check out the rest of her works, if you've only found out about her now like me. Therefore here is a link to said set and a link to her flickr. She is sooome talented person !

:D!

Best,
Nina.

  1. the watermelon one reminds me of the melon-head mascots for the RoughRiders football team, they wear hollowed out watermelons on their heads to games, its pretty cool !
