Communication design seeks to attract, inspire, create desires and motivate people to do or think something using words, images, artifacts, spaces, sound, and movement. Your job is to explore and create original concepts—not merely to emulate others' ideas (although others will inspire you)—and to expand your ideas about what it is to communicate.

Window Display
When I was in New York this summer I saw this window display at the flatiron building .I thought it was a magnificent display because it caught my eye from about 50 feet away, and as I got closer could see all the different materials and textures used. At first what I thought was a public display of art turned out to be an advertisement. I think it was a display for sprint, however it used a large amount of different brightly coloured materials like bendable straws, ribbon, wire, and paper, yarn and string in a unique way to create a three dimensional explosion of different colours and textures.
