Communication design seeks to attract, inspire, create desires and motivate people to do or think something using words, images, artifacts, spaces, sound, and movement. Your job is to explore and create original concepts—not merely to emulate others' ideas (although others will inspire you)—and to expand your ideas about what it is to communicate.

Novelty Flower
I always found little crafts interesting. As soon as I saw this photograph, what intrigued me the most was the words integrated into the flower since it is made from pages in a book. I like how each "petal" is cut and curled to make the visual of the flower more realistic. I especially like the attention to detail by adding blank page petals and alternating petals with and without words as it reaches the centre of the flower. The colour red and its lack of opacity allowing the words to show through adds another layer of aesthetic to the flower.
